Job Description

  • Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the websites of the entire E8A, from layout to function.
  • Work closely with the Web Systems Manager and other team members to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
  • Ensure that the website is optimized for performance, scalability, and security, and supporting the company especially the e-commerce initiatives.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in web development, programming, or related areas (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid/Oxygen, Ruby, Shopify, Magento, API integration) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in web development, particularly in an e-commerce environment.
  • Proven experience with front-end and back-end web development, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and server-side languages like PHP or Python.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WordPress).
  • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of server-side languages (PHP, Python) and database management.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to web development.
  • Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
