Job Description

  • Institutionalizes a data driven Procurement organization (automated data extraction), strategic business decision-making and standardized purchasing activities including process internal controls.
  • Develops methodology and building up capability for analytics as a basis for evaluating purchasing costs, spend, supply and business process efficiency leading to operational excellence in terms of reliability and value analysis.
  • Leads the transformation of supplier relationship from transactional to long term partnership perspective and from adversarial to a cooperative relationship (Harness product ideation/best practices; technology transfer; sponsored training for differentiation; joint development/ strategic alliances such as shared development cost/risk or no shareholding/ownership involvement/consolidated purchases/logistics services).
  • Develops training plans for both BSP that will focus on spend analysis, supply reliability checks, pricing negotiations, data security and confidentiality, and other purchasing analytics.
  • Defines performance metrics to measure financial and operational results of Purchasing operations (KRA/KPI; Customer satisfaction audits; industry benchmarking).
  • Leads the resource planning for reduced cost, combined/consolidated purchases, decreased transportation/delivery costs, and minimized inventory cost.
  • Ensures that the QMS and FSSC are evaluated and maintained to achieve its intended results.
