Job Description

The Product Marketing Assistant provides administrative, coordination, and operational support in the planning, development, launching, and monitoring of products. The role works closely with the Marketing, Brand, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to ensure smooth execution of product-related initiatives, market research, product testing, documentation, and launch activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Product Development Support
  • Assist in coordinating product development activities with R&D, Operations, Purchasing, and other concerned departments.
  • Help monitor timelines for new product development, product improvement, and product launch projects.
  • Prepare and organize product-related documents such as product briefs, tasting notes, pricing files, and launch trackers.
  • Assist in consolidating feedback from product testing, sampling, and market trials.
  • Market Research and Competitor Monitoring
  • Conduct basic market research on consumer trends, competitor products, pricing, promotions, and product offerings.
  • Visit stores, branches, or competitor locations to gather market insights when needed.
  • Prepare reports and summaries based on market observations and research findings.
  • Product Launch Coordination
  • Support the preparation and implementation of product launch plans.
  • Coordinate requirements for launch materials, product information sheets, menu boards, flyers, digital assets, and other marketing collaterals.
  • Assist in communicating product details, mechanics, and updates to internal teams.
  • Monitor availability of launch materials and coordinate with suppliers or internal teams as needed.
  • Sales and Performance Monitoring
  • Assist in tracking product performance, sales movement, customer feedback, and store-level concerns.
  • Prepare regular reports on product sales, campaign results, and market feedback.
  • Help identify product issues or improvement opportunities based on gathered data.
  • Administrative and Coordination Tasks
  • Maintain organized records of product files, approvals, product photos, pricing, and marketing documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, product tastings, presentations, and product evaluation sessions.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings, follow-ups, and status updates for ongoing projects.
  • Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Communication, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, or any related course.
  • With at least 2 years working experience- product lifecycle
  • With good coordination, research, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with timelines.
  • Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Willing to conduct store visits, market checks, or product testing when needed.
