Job Summary:
The Enterprise Data and Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide data strategies and analytics initiatives. This role ensures that data is properly governed, high-quality, and leveraged to deliver actionable insights that support business decisions. The manager leads a team of data analysts, engineers, and stewards, and partners with business leaders to drive data maturity, analytics capabilities, and innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Analytics
• Define and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
• Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across business units.
• Lead the development and use of dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics to deliver insights.
• Identify and prioritize key business questions and translate them into data analysis projects.
Data Architecture & Management
• Oversee enterprise data architecture, ensuring scalability, integration, and consistency.
• Work with IT to implement and manage data platforms, data lakes, and warehouses.
• Establish data pipelines and integrations between systems and departments.
Data Governance & Quality
• Implement data governance policies and practices to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance.
• Oversee data cataloging, classification, and stewardship processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other local data protection laws.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead and manage a cross-functional team including data analysts, data engineers, and data stewards.
• Collaborate with executives and business stakeholders to define and prioritize analytics projects.
• Promote data literacy and champion a culture of analytics across the organization.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
• Stay current on trends in AI, machine learning, and business intelligence.
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes, tools, and user adoption.
